Hello! I’m a tween, and I grew up in Costa Rica. One of my favorite vacation spots is Peninsula Papagayo, where I have been coming since I was really little. There are so many amazing things to do at this resort that I never get tired of visiting.
Things you should do when vacationing in Papagayo
Here are my top five favorite things to do at Peninsula Papagayo:
Ziplining through the jungle:
One of the most exciting things to do at Peninsula Papagayo is to go ziplining through the jungle. The views are incredible, and the experience is unforgettable. It’s a bit scary at first, but once you start zipping from one platform to another, it’s such a thrill. This is a must-do activity for anyone visiting the resort.
Going to the Prieta pools:
The Prieta pools are one of the most beautiful places to swim at Peninsula Papagayo. The main pool has an infinity edge that overlooks the ocean, making it the perfect spot to relax and soak up the sun. There are plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas available, so it’s easy to spend the entire day there.
Going to Prieta Beach:
At Prieta Beach, the waves are perfect for boogie boarding, which is so much fun, and the sand is very fun to play into. It’s soft and clean, making it perfect for building sandcastles or playing beach volleyball. I love spending time on the beach, whether it’s swimming in the ocean or playing in the sand. And with the best boogie boarding ever, it’s obvious why Prieta Beach is one of my favorite spots at Peninsula Papagayo.
And an amazing bonus…
Riding around the resort in the golf cart and soaking up the nice views after a long day at the beach:
Riding around the resort in the golf cart is a great way to see everything that Peninsula Papagayo has to offer. The views are breathtaking, and it’s a really fun way to get around. You can easily explore different parts of the resort and take in all the sights and sounds.
In conclusion, Peninsula Papagayo is an amazing place that I grew up visiting.
As a kid, there are so many awesome things to do at the resort, from ziplining to boogie boarding to exploring different parts of the resort. It’s the perfect vacation spot for anyone looking to relax, have fun, and enjoy the beauty of Costa Rica.
