Costa Rica is rife with adventure. Even if you choose to relax on the beach most of the time, your one or two week Costa Rican adventure will entail experiencing a stunning part of the world, possibly a new sport, and potentially “meeting” a new animal or bird, all while enjoying this experience with friends and family.
However, on occasion there are opportunities to mix adventure with some friendly competition while on vacation. Case in point, the Four Seasons is hosting its first annual La Brujo Stand Up Paddle Competition this Sunday, Nov 9th. I’ve heard that there may be some paddling pros there… and while they are probably quite friendly, be sure that these same pros are certainly vying to win and aren’t about to let you paddle by!
La Bruja Stand Up Paddle Competition Details:
The race is hosted by Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica, with sponsorships from several partners including Outside Television, as well as our amazing water sports tour pros at Almaco Diving.
Date: Saturday, Nov 9th, 2013
Three distances:
25K: start time at 7 a.m.
4.5K : start time at 9:30 a.m.
3 x 500m relay: start time at 11 a.m.
$40/person (payable day of event)
