Prieta Beach Club
Relax beach side, or poolside, at the beautiful Prieta Beach Club. Walk the pristine beach, body surf in the comfortable waves, and then relax with a gourmet lunch from the clubs restaurant. If you want some exercise you can hike the stairs over to Virador Beach, and even all the way up the mountain from Playa Blanca. Test your water skills with stand-up paddle boards, boogie boards available for hourly rental.
There are fitness classes offered throughout the week, and you have full access to the Prieta Beach fitness center from 7am-10pm. Beach Club (not the beach) is closed Sunday all year and Monday during green season, but access to fitness center is allowed.
Playa Nacascolo
Keep your eyes peeled as you take the short walk down to the beach from the parking area as you’re likely to see monkeys, tropical birds, and iguanas. As your feet hit the sand and the view opens to a perfectly tranquil bay you’ll begin to understand the reason people rave about the Costa Rican beaches.
Nacascolo is a perfect beach for small children, and families of all sizes. This tranquil bay side beach has nice snorkeling and calm flat water only minutes from the homes we offer.
Boat Access Only Beaches
Choose between half or full-day boat adventures around the Gulf of Papagayo. The boat picks you up only minutes from our properties at Playa Nacascolo. This is a magical way to see the area coastline as well as visit the numerous beaches only accessible by boat! Trips can include snorkeling, fishing, surfing, stand up paddling, wakeboards, waterskiing, innertubes, and more…

Beaches Near By
There are many beautiful beaches along the coast near Peninsula Papagayo, and among them are Playas del Coco, Playa Tamarindo, and Playa Avellanas.
Playas del Coco
Is a fun beach town located about 45 minutes away and is full of shopping, restaurants, ice cream shops, and local flavor. A very fun combination of foreigners and locals give this town a unique and lively atmosphere!
Tamarindo and Avellanas
Two beach towns located about 1 hour and 20 minutes away. They are famous not only for their waves, but also for their great atmosphere. The waves have a world famous slow break that allows for all levels of surfing. Avellanas is a completely natural beach with a very well-known family-friendly restaurant called Lola’s for relaxed lunches or sunset conversations over drinks. Tamarindo is a wonderful town to spend the day surfing, beaching, going to art galleries, shopping, and eating with the family. With a multitude of dining options and great streets for walking, this is the perfect way to wind down your beach day away from the resort.
