We love Marea, the fine dining restaurant at the Prieta Beach Club. But did you know that a select few can arrange to eat dinner on the beach, next to the sea? It is a wonderful option to celebrate a birthday or anniversary, or even if you just want to try something different and special!
Guests of ours this week dined sea side with their group of 10, had an amazing time, and even saw hatching baby turtles, meandering toward the sea! We can’t guarantee the turtles, as that was a special treat that cannot be predicted. However, it is a lovely atmosphere with the crashing waves, the torches subtly lighting up your table and area, and a walkway of small paper lanterns lighting your pathway.
Our amazing concierge can set up the dinner arrangements with you. As sea side dinners are limited to one per evening, they must be organized in advance, and there is an extra setup charge for this.
Insider’s tip #1: Consider coming for cocktail hour and an earlier dinner so you take advantage of the beautiful sunset around 6pm.
Insider’s tip #2: If you want sushi, ask James… if he has advance notice, he can prepare it for you. Fresh, delicious, and to order! Otherwise, be sure to order the tuna taco appetizer. It is my personal favorite appetizer!
