After closing its borders in March, Costa Rica welcomed international travelers as of Aug 1, 2020, and has continued to expand the list. As of Nov 1, the borders are open to residents of all countries. Please check for normal visa requirements for your country, and note the covid related requirements here. 

Who flies to LIR? 

It is a short 30 minute drive from the Liberia airport (LIR) to the front gates of Peninsula Papagayo.
