We would love to have every amenity available all of the time. However, the Peninsula Papagayo resort occasionally needs to temporarily close certain amenities to make major improvements and continue to upgrade your onsite experiences.
As such, please note the upcoming (and temporary) closures starting this summer:
GOLF, TENNIS, & PICKLEBALL CENTER
The front nine of the Arnold Palmer Ocean Course will remain open through Aug, but the back nine will be closed for needed improvements from Jun 15-Oct 31, 2022. The silver lining is that we can offer our guests unlimited golf through August (on the front nine) for $175!
The Clubhouse at the Arnold Palmer Ocean Course will close Sep 1-Oct 31. The closure includes the Tennis & Pickleball Center, the Palapita Tap House, Pro Shop, Nemare restaurant, and Members Lounge.
PRIETA BEACH CLUB
Our renowned beach club will be closed for capital improvements from Sep 12-Oct 31. This include improvements to the wood deck throughout, new covered shaded areas, and remodeling of the Kids Club and Activity Center, amongst other changes and additions.
While the Prieta Beach Club is closed, we will organize day passes to the Four Seasons hotel (payable directly to the Four Seasons) for uninterrupted pool and beach time!
ANDAZ HOTEL
The Andaz Hotel, Peninsula Papagayo, will be closed Sep 6-Oct 14 as they renovate various areas of the hotel including Ostra Restaurant.
Our amazing concierge team is here to plan an incredible vacation for you and your family, regardless of when you want to visit. If you come during these closures, we will plan around them for an incredible holiday, whether this means honing your golf skills on the front nine, indulging in day passes at the Four Seasons, or more private chef meals in the privacy of your vacation villa.
